www.businessoffashion.comThe Business of Fashion provides editorial coverage of the fashion industry alongside platforms for careers, education and fashion week. I worked in the business for 2 years as their first designer, defining the look and feel of all business offerings.
Working alongside a team of developers and product managers I redesigned the editorial offering, careers platform and designed the education and fashion week platforms from the ground up.
My responsibilities also included rapid prototyping new products, managing design interns and producing social assets.
Careers platform
BoF Careers was one of the most profitable platforms we relaunched, bringing together job postings from the worlds most high profile fashion businesses and exclusive editorial content.
The platform allows candidates to upload CVs, apply for jobs and communicate with potential employers. It allows employers to post jobs, screen candidates and review applications,.
Beta testing platforms
We often created rapid prototypes for business ideas and tested them with users in the field to understand whether they would be adopted and profitable.
Professional membership
I worked closely with the leadership team to prototype and design the professional membership sign up process and experience. As part of this we created a lightweight mobile app that gathered together members only exclusive content and notifications.
